Education:
Attended Kent Phillips Elementary for K,1st,3rd,4th,5th,6th grade. Attended St. Vincents de Paul for 2nd Grade and for all of his religious education classes to complete his First Communion and Confirmation. Mike's 2nd grade teacher told the principal, Sister Anne, "Either Mike goes, or I quit!" so he was out of school for two weeks until he had completely changed from cylert to ritalin for ADDH. I now wonder if he had been misdiagnosed as ADDH when he was probably bipolar. Will never know.
Michael was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout and worked up to his First Star. Only had one left and he would have been an Eagle Scout but quit because of poor troup leadership andselling merchandise for trip and failure of leader getting transportation only to cancel. He spent many campouts with troups at Camp Gordan as well as special camps for computer camp, horseback riding and watersports.
Attended Corning Free Academy for 7th grade. Attended Northside Blodgett for 8th grade. Attended Corning Painted Post East High School for high school and graduated June 1989. Majored in wood and metal shop. Went on to construction work in New York and Raleigh, NC area.
