MARRIAGE: MIKE'S NEW FAMILY
& Linda's new grandchildren
Michael married Tammy Beebe on May 17, 2002 on the Keuka Maid in NY. Tammy's children Michael and Chelsea walked her down the aisle. Music was Soul Shine and I don't want to miss a thing. What a beautiful wedding aboard the ship.

Michael attended all of Chelsea's sports activities and cheerleading events to cheer her on. She remembers him as helping her with her homework and encouraging her to do well and graduate. She loved him as if he was her real father.

When Michael got married I was asked to call my son Mike since his stepson's name was Michael so it wouldn't be confusing, otherwise it would be Big Mike and Little Mike which is fine when kids are small. I never could get used to calling him Mike. He was always Michael or Mikey to me. It was bad enough that I would call him Fran (my brother) and he would get upset and say "I'm your son, Michael, not your brother!" I knew that but as I told him "I got my mords wixed." Getting older, short term memory, but I knew who he was.
Michael I. loved heavy music like Mike and started his own band. Mike was so proud of him he insisted all his friends buy the cds that were available for sale, he never asked his mother as I would have been first in line. Guess he figured since I never cared for heavy metal or hard rock, I wouldn't be interested. Michael and Mike had so much in common, even if Mike wanted to admit it or not. When he asked us what one is to do when you take away all their privileges and there is nothing left to do so we reminded him of his comment that he was "grounded for life."
